The Architectural Review Board ( ARB) was created by the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for the Association and is composed of Ghent Square homeowners who volunteer their time to serve. The ARB is charged with carrying out certain rules and regulations, known as the “Ghent Square Architectural Guidelines”.
The ARB meets monthly on the first Wednesday of each month. All ARB Requests are due in the office two weeks prior if you wish to be considered at this meeting. A reminder – ANY change to the exterior of your home, including landscaping, requires prior ARB approval.
Each spring the ARB has an annual inspection of every home in Ghent Square. The intent is to point out small discrepancies and repairs before they grow into big problems. Letters informing of advisories and violations are mailed June 1. If you receive a letter with a violation noted, please contact the office within two weeks to let us know your plans for repair. Repairs are to be completed by September 1. If you cannot complete repairs by this date, please fill out an Extension Request and it will be considered by the ARB. Failure to complete repairs in a timely manner may result in fines as noted on the Enforcement of GSCA Rules and Policies.

This committee meets quarterly and reports to the Board of Directors. The committee monitors funds invested, including the Reserve Fund. These funds are invested in accordance with the guidelines established by the Ghent Square Investment Policy.

The Property Committee meets on an as needed basis. They report to the Board of Directors regarding any physical needs of the community to include upkeep of the building, pool, tennis courts, tot lot, landscaping concerns, etc
